Robert Mueller has finally decided to speak publicly on his report, and did so this morning. You can view the live stream and commentary from CBS News via the link above.
Democrats have been pressuring Mueller for some time to testify to Congress, with the Democrats reportedly wanting it to be public testimony, while Mueller wanted a closed-door session because he was concerned about a political circus (a very valid concern, if you've seen how the Republicans usually behave in hearings- basically full witch trial mode against any witness who reflects poorly on the Fuhrer). So this may be Mueller trying to meet them half-way.
In any case, I'd say its a sign of just how dissatisfied Mueller is with the situation that he would do this, as he is notoriously adverse to the press and the media spotlight. This is basically like Batman picking up a gun.

More violence on a relative small scale (Alt. Reich shootings, etc.) is, sadly, probably inevitable. And probably some rioting by whichever side loses on election day.
Whether its worse than that depends on how clear-cut the election results are, and how much of the military/intelligence/law enforcement establishment is willing to fall in line with Trump when push comes to shove.
