My hat's off to PFC Lynch for doing her job well and then surviving long enough to be rescued. However, I think that making a TV movie out of her ordeal is just Hollywood's way of saying, "See! Women can serve in the Infantry too!" She used the skills she'd learned in Basic Training (quite recently for her) to destroy the enemy, as did many of her cohorts who also ran out of ammunition and were then either captured or killed. Does that mean that women can be fully integrated into infantry combat line companies? No, but that is how I foresee Hollywood trying to spin this...

I saw it coming, and I hope her family tries to sell it. Opportunities like this only come once in a lifetime and most of the time they don't come at all.

We were all wrong. Not lifetime, not TNT, not USA... It was NBC.

Can't people just leave her alone? I wouldn't mind making a movie about the special operations soldiers who did the rescue,

I read in the paper that in her hometown, the churches all hung signs saying "Thank GOD for saving our Jessie." It would be nice if the Special Ops guys got some credit too ...

...Not to mention the Iraqi civilian who informed Americans about Jessica's location and entered the guarded hospital to gain information about the building's layout.

Would have been nice if he'd have saved her the trouble of being captured instead.

It's just everything good is the will of God whereas everything bad is just a test or the work of the Devil, I don't buy it.
