Saw Marine One Yesterday...

As I was coming home from my parole and probation officer, I saw that
Georgia Avenue was jammed solid, so I took an alternate route, and basically
winged my way thanks to lots of inductive reasoning and I by luck ended
up in Bethesda, and as I was driving down Bethesda, I saw lots and lots
of cops with flashing lights, and as I came up next to the Naval Hospital,
which is on the street opposite the NIH campus, I saw none other
than Marine One resting on the helipad on the grounds of the Naval
Hospital!

Wow, the things you see thanks to flukes of luck..

And it was the traditional Marine One, the Sea King...not that VH-60 abortion

I saw on the news the other day about that. The Pres was going to Bethesda to visit some wounded from Op: I.F. and present some Purple Hearts.

Pretty cool!

On a side note, while on Andrews AFB a few years back, I was driving near the tarmac and saw the AF1 sitting there.
