Of course. But I don't know when.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

Of course. And probably not long.

Both sides have leaders that aren't terribly commited to peace. The Palestinian Prime Minister seems to genuinely want peace but Arafat will no doubt interefere. Arafat's still way to attached to the heroic freedom fighter (aka terrorist scumbag) image and mentality to ever allow peace to be made. His power rests on his perception is a standing defiantly against Israeli oppressers. With that gone they'll start asking lots of uncomfortable questions about his rampant cronyism and corruption.

Sharon's a mixed bag. He's certainly no great friend of the Palestinians but neither does it seem he wants to keep up the pointless bloodletting. If pressure, internal and external, he'd probably go along like it or not.

Plus, the Palestinian public in general is too wrap up in the nationalistic-islamic terrorist mindset. Unless they can actually break the indoctrination and stop the violence I doubt they'll see peace. No nation will make peace with the people slaughtering it's citizens.

Yes, and it'll happen just when things seem to be calming down a bit.
Don't hate; appreciate!

RIP Eddie.

That isn't the problem so much as the extremism. It's more of a Palestnian problem given their "fighters" are almost exclusively religious wackos. But as long as both sides can't compromise on a bit of holy dirt then it won't be over.
