Yeah, that was all over the news here. The school called Children's Aid and had her kids taken away by the cops. She assumed that her neighbour called it in and she went berserk, running over there with a machete and attacking her. Her neighbour hadn't the slightest clue that anything was wrong until she was already being attacked. She couldn't even grab a kitchen knife for self-defense.

Certainly. A slash with a small knife, perhaps not. But a fucking machete used to several a body part? That is attempted murder and could easily have killed her.
