Below are the last recorded words of Saddam Husseins two sons, Uday and Qusay. This was taken during the fierce gun battle between the 101st Airborne and the Hussein brothers.

Uday: j00 h4x0rs!

Qusay: no rush! no rush!

US Soldiers: kekekeke....

Uday has been dropped from the game.

Qusay has been defeated.

Moral of the story, j00 will always be pwned by Terran rush, kekeke.

Looks nothing like em to me. They must've disguised themselves or something.

Can someone explain why 200 men, anti-tank missiles etc were needed for this?

Yeah, Fox had said the two had tried to disguise themselves by growing big beards and shaving their heads.

Apparently, gunships were going to be called it, but weren't, because the Pentagon feared that they might cause damage to other buildings.

Security, probably more then two thirds of that force where being used simply to block all the streets and alleys to keep civilians away from the fight. Anti tank missiles where only used after two attempts to storm the building failed with three wounded, all four where barricaded inside one room. So they got an anti tank platoon and fired ten missiles into it. Even after that one person was still alive, supposedly the son of one of the two and was killed during the finnal assault.

Wasn't there a load of bitching because Al-Jazeera ran pictures of some dead coalition troops a while back? This seems a tad hypocritical, not sure why I'd expect any better, though.

I think we have two factors to consider.

You have a population that is terrified that the Husseins wil return and are very unwilling to trust the US about this concern, so you parade the corpses to the people so there is no doubt. This is an overall security issue as we try to pacify the country.

Also the war is over, these guys are at best terrorists now or at worst criminals, hardly soldiers fighting in uniform for a legtiamte regime.

As Skimmer said most of the troops where probably for security reasons, keep people away, and to keep supporters from helping.

Anti-tank missiles are used cause they can blow through those stone walls.
The newspaper said they tried a couple of times to storm the building but the stairs were barricaded and several troops were wounded in the attempt.

These two are not soldiers, they are wanted criminals whose confirmed deaths are critical for the recreation of Iraq. The Pentagon was at first reluctant to release photos, but did so because the Iraqis wanted proof. It's not like right after the battle ended our troops brought in TV cameras and showed the bodies live on CNN.
