There's been quite a few cases of people tunneling out of prison in the US, especially in the context of POWs.

I regularly visit Fox News. It's called know your enemy. They also have the most useful casualty listing of OIF on the Web (sorted by date, not alphabetically).

Of course they tunneled out. Shaaaa, they didn't have enough bed sheets to make a rope out of and rapell out of the 7th floor.
