Russia: Israeli tried to steal secrets(and they let him go?)

Post by BlkbrryTheGreat »

All I can say is that there is no way Russia would release a spy from any another country in this manner... something is fishy here.

Russia: An Israeli tried to steal secrets

NOVOSIBIRSK, Russia, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Russian officials say they seized a computer diskette from an Israeli man at the Novosibirsk airport that contained information on secret research.

The Novosti news agency said the unidentified man was not detained after the disk was confiscated Tuesday as he prepared to board a flight to Israel. The diskette allegedly contained information on unidentified Russian scientific developments.

Officials said the diskette was sent to Moscow for examination.
Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.

Probably because those state secrets were procured through a black market dealing involving 5 dollars and a poor Russian hacker?

Stalin must be spinning in whatever tomb he's in... They let him go? Where's the public trial, the execution? Things aren't what they used to be...

The courier might have been an unaware third party. Therefore containment would be useless and unnecessary.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

Just because the person is a citizen of a nation doesn't mean there spying for that state's government. This article is so vague that it easily and most likely is industrial rather then government spying, if it's anything at all.
