If someone leaves the military because of don't ask don't tell, whats their status on leaving?
Is it retired, honourable discharge? Something else?

I think they get a general discharge If im not mistaken. But from what I can tell, if your in the military and your gay, the brass has a "We don't wanna know" attitude. Beleive me the military would rather have someone who is gay with 13 years experiance in their job then just get rid of somebody to make them feel more comfortable.
It's, I think, a administration discharge which equates to a General Discharge. They, again I think, slap the term; 'Failure to Adapt' to it for the records.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red
