I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

No, CSM is a legitimate, respectable publication. Ignore the title.

CSM is generally one of the most respected news sources in the country. In my paper, our order of reliability places CSM on the same level as Reuters and the Washington Post.

That's how ours is as well. Strange, but if they report well then I'll forgive their (I assume) connections to Christian Scientists.
Howedar is no longer here. Need to talk to him? Talk to Pick.

Potemkin village.
Having said that I do think the US is correct to help in rebuilding Iraq, even If I dissagree with how it has been done.

Actually, they now claim to be a secular institution. The name is a holdover from the good ol' days.

It's a holdover name, I believe. Like YMCA is Young Mens Christian Association, even though it allows old folks, women, and non-christians to become members.

I once posted a CSM article and got the same sort of leery comments, though no one informed me of its status then ... ah those were the days.

The First Church of Christ, Scientist, still owns and publishes the periodical. So it's more than just a holdover.

When I was going to SJSU I found CSM to be a great source of articles for reasearch papers. I dont ever remember seeing any kind of "christian" bias in the articles. I even thought about getting a subscription, but once I finished school , the Mercury is enough.
