I think the key words are "now-disproved" which shed a bit on Coulters crap. He worked with what was known then, and it's since been shown to be wrong...which you must admit is better than using something after it's been shown to be wrong rather than before...

In regards to the article, medical malpractice suits are retarded, and they massively drive up health-care costs in the United States. There are times when legitimate medical negligence does hurt patients, and in those cases I agree that there should be some sort of pay-out just to make things right and assist victims in their recovery, however, multi-million dollar pain-and-suffering/mental anguish claims are bullshit, and the cases do nothing when there was no actual malpractice involved. This is the first time I've seen what Edwards specialized in (the cerebral palsy cases), and if that's true then he's a certified scum-bag.

I've seen it before, the man is famous for his lawsuits against insurance companies. That fucker is one of the main reasons why doctors are moving out of some states. He's a piece of shit, like you said, certified.

I don't know about the channeling, but it seems fairly common for the lawyer to put him or herself in the place of the victim to make their case, so it wouldn't suprise me. The history of him trotting out his cases to win his way into office has been quit well followed over the last several years, and is just a google away.

And personally, I think Coulter makes a damn good point that if he could put himself in the place of an unborn child in the case of cerebral palsy then he should be able to do the same for abortion.

Potentially, although her claim is fairly specific, and I don't think that the crazy psychic would ever think of trying to testify at a trial, since "psychic" testimony has been so firmly disallowed with the help of some high-profile historical cases like teh Salem Witch burnings. Also, it doesn't seem like the kind of thing someone could lie about, and it DOES seem like something that a crazy trial lawyer would do during his closing statement.
