What are your impressions of the election campaign, has in involved or repulsed you? Did any party’s campaign change your mind or did they merely conform your previous opinions?
Also regardless of party affiliation who do you think has run the best and worst campaigns?
Brits, what effect has the election campaign had on you?

I knew who I was going to vote for anyway.
I thought the parties camaigns, particularly those of Labour and the Torries were awful. Disgusting tactics from both, nothing but personal attacks, political attacks and scare tactics. Never mind focusing on putting their message out there, they almost soley focused on putting the other parties down, especialy Labour; "Oh, the Torries will ruin the economy!", "Don't vote Lib Dem, or the Torries get in through the backdoor!", "Oh, Charles Kennedy is like a tired working mother!" Ok, that last one was only that twat Prescott, but still. Although, I think UKIPs giant blue octopus with the EU sign on it, destroying the house of commons really took the piss in attempted scare tactics department. But *shrug* such things are the way of politics, I guess.

I'm not too bright when it comes to politics. Far too much lying and bullshitting for my liking.
But the only thing this election has made me realise is exactly how much I fucking hate Michael Howard and the Conservatives.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
ummm...no, I don't think I am, unless he's thinking of the ways he'd like me to repeatedly beat him around the face and chest with some horrible spiky object.

No effect whatsoever, in the end for both me and my father who were discussing this last night, the vote goes in the box marked labour because in the end, we don't michael howard to get in.
The only thing the election campaign did for me was to make me marginally more impressed with the lib dems until I saw their party political broadcast about the war, which seemed to me to be the very definition of negative campaigning or whatever it's called.
And my mind still boggles about how Michael Howard got up on stage last week and said he'd have gone to war in Iraq quicker than Blair did.

I'm mildly more disappointed with Labour and the Lib Dems for their lameness with regard to one another. The Tories can kiss my fucking ass, "imagine 5 more years of him!!!" their posters say, with a devilish photo of Blair. Yes, that's real mature there, guys. Then they give a load of misleading figures regarding education, the NHS and crime. I hate them, I actually hate them.
Personally, I'm not going to vote, the best I get is disappointed with the best parties, and hate for the conservatives. I just don't care about it anymore.
