A question about the original UT

Post by Oni Koneko Damien »

I have a question about the original Unreal Tournament. While I'm only semi-skilled at it, I've fallen in love with the online maps that are designed like super-large rooms in a house. I was wondering if there were any way I could download these and play them single-player, as I cannot find any site they appear on.

There's a program called UTCacheCleaner; last time I checked, it was at version 3. Basically, after you play online, you can run it and it will move all the maps, textures, etc it finds in your cache into your main UT data folders.

I've collected a lot of maps this way.

Anyway, once you run it and it moves the maps, you can feel free to play the DM-ExtremeBathroom (or whatever) maps at your leisure offline.
