I got a funny video clip of my friend in .mov format. What kinda software would i need to dub it. (free please).

AFAIK there is no free software on the PC that lets you edit QuickTime. You can shell out $30 for QuickTime Pro, which has some rudimentary editing abilities (and should let you dub audio).

Is there any free way to turn it into a .wmv file so i can edit it with somehthing else?

There are some tools around that convert from QuickTime to AVI, but they don't change the video codec so if you don't have the corresponding video codec for AVI or WMV, you're still screwed.

Just got rad tools problem solved as i do have the right stuff to dub a .avi
