Counter Strike Freaks - go back to the zoo

Post by moku »

Today I once again ventured into one of my local lan caffees, and the entire place is cramped with these little shits. Maybe 35 or more of these whacko ten yr olds who boast on and on and on after each "spectacular" kill they get. Ugh. Not going there again. And after I tried another caffee. Luckily no shitlings here :D and so I got on, though there was almost no one else around to lan with, thus I hooked up to the net, and to my (utter) suprise, the entire Counter Strike online network is riddled with the same type of bozzos that exist at the other caffee. Is this just me? Happened to anyone else?

No, but then the only local LAN café closed about a year ago due to lack of business. Also, the only gamers that used it (as far as I know) were my myriad friends, who all hated CS. We had some weekly good times there with Battlefield 1942, though.

Bah.

I celebrate when my kill count is twice or more above my death count, and I only say "that was an awesome kill" if it truely was, such as the time I headshot a CT from all the way on the other side of the bridge in de_dust2 with a shotgun. Because I recognize my mediocrity.

I play Wolfenstien: Hostile Territory and am a certified "Machinegun Wh0re", or so say the n00bs.

..........their entire team was bunched together near the gate they were about to bomb. I was on the ledge above them with a deployed machine gun and lots of ammo. What was I supposed to do?

Exactly what you did. They were being stupid and paid for it.

Never been to one of those internet cafés before, I guess I'd have to go into the city to find one. I do, however, have a little brother who fits that description perfectly. He does that from home, whenever he gets a headshot he makes sure everyone knows and yell vehemently into his microphone to his hooligan friends every time he dies. If I still lived at home I'd take that microphone of his and toss it out the window.

I've seen internet cafes filled up with ankle biters, but since I prefer Civ III or Warcraft, it's not a problem. Playing Command and Conqear can be bitch with them around sometimes...

Well what these little shitlings where on about was pretty much:
I shot him with an awp (pretty much instant kill sniper rifle) 7 times in the arm, and then he died!!!! kinda thing. That is how they act. All of the buggers.

Funny story. My cousin dragged me into an internet caffe about a month back. I havn't touched CS in about a year now and never planed to again, but he insisted I play a few rounds. This Lan place is a bit wierd. All 13 year old Asian kids with their MD's blasting into their ears. All started muttering to each other about killing the 'noob', got quite a few smirks leveled at me.

First map was Prodigy.
Kills: 25. Deaths: 7 As a Ter. Successfuly bombed the taget 4/4.

Second map was Assault as a CT.
Kills: 16. Deaths: 3
And did it by assaulting through the airvent, front and back doors, never camped. Rescued the hostages three times, including once when I was the only CT left against 3 Ters with a single MP5 clip. Fucking funny. Ran out the front while they were all running around on the roof, then as I hit the front door, threw a HE at the back door, which sent them ALL running that way, totaly missing me comming out the front and around to the CT spawn :P

It was twice as funny when you realise their friends were screaming at them that I was heading out the front but they couldn't hear them :)

Final map was Oilrig. Went on a frigen killing spree.
CT side.
Kills 36. Deaths 16. 8 Kills as the VIP.

At that point I got up, told my friend we were leaving, it was too boring and too easy.
Oh I got some dirties as I walked out :D

But it was helishly boring compared to DC or 1942.

the two best games i have ever played were as such:
1. over the net at my friends place last year before the net was cramped with these fuckers. anyhow, i was in this tower, i can't remember the map ( don't play all that much at all really). our team was kinda winning or we spawned with bucket loads of cash - since i could immediately buy kelvar, head armor, a HE, an awp and a deagle along with full clips.

Anyhow as a ter, i hid in this tower and managed to snipe out 7 of the cts, before all my team except i was decimated. i was the only ter left, without the bomb (if there was one) and there were 8 of the cts left. i got 5 before they got to the edge and outta sight of the tower window. there were 3 left, and i then threw my HE down killing one, then i was going to change to my deagle, though never had enough time (and awps do not have crosshairs while not in zoom mode). i was about to change when this ct came up and i got him off with a headshot with an awp at about 4 metres! best shot ever! next i changed to my deagle, and got a head shot as well! then map change. that round got me from last to first amoungst pros!

==========================================

next game was recently. i played in that caffee over the net with these shitlings. i (by accident) forgot to buy ammo and primary weapons in this one round (the game had been going for some time already) and i was walking around with a glock and some simple kevlar. i got off with 2 head shots, and then killed 2 more in torso hits. next i ran outta ammo!!! arghh and i was all alone except for one other dude ( a really shit sniper with an awp who was comming last). Then i got out my knife and finished the last three off while they took out the sniper on my side. the funny thing was they were all watching their backs and i still got the shitlings. i laft afterwards. after all that was too easy, if i can get 'em with a knife, then guns eh!? who needs them then!?!

:D

Back before I broke my CT addiction, the best set of kills I got was on Dust. I was a T who had infiltrated, and I was facing 3 returning CT. Just as they were coming out of the tunnel I came around the corner, fired 4 shots from my Commando and got 3 head shots. Pure luck of course, but if I ever need to brag.

Oh, and I'm generally happy when I help my team win, whatever my kill count is. If I have the most kills *and* the most deaths on my team it means I've been doing my part.

To have fun in CS anymore I tend to give love to the weapons that very seldom get it. The TMP, Glock, Pump-action, Steyr Scout... they are like my children. When I do quite well with those weapons then I celebrate. Because I have the right :D

weapons

Post by moku »

might sound a bit stupid, however i prefer the following weapons always:
t: glock (love the burst fire mode), steyer (IIRC b-4-2, when buying/purchasing).
ct: deagle, steyer, aug smg/rifle (it is b-4-4, when buying).

glock is pretty nice with 20 shots and the rifles are a beaut. ontop of this come a fw grenades etc...

but i won't play now thanks to those shitlings, unless it is lan and at our places and my friends. :?

CS 1.6 pretty much ruined the game for me, but when I used to play back in 1.4 and 1.5 I'd always whore the Scout to great effect.

These days I prefer more realistic games like the Hostile Intent mod.

The most funny issue about the pre-teen CS-kiddies is that they all talk like utter morons.[/url]

Best CS game I ever had was on Militia in a 8v8 game. My entire team gets itself killed without making a single kill in return. This leaves me the lone CT against an entire team of Ts. I single handily wipe out the entire Terrorist side in one of the luckiest and bloodiest warpaths ever in CS history. After that the Terrorists would not stop at claiming how I cheated and used wallhack. What they forgot is that as a CS player for more then 3 years, I know the tricks of the game, I know the hiding spots. When you've watched your entire team killed by a sole CT, you get scared, VERY scared. Your tactics become predictable and this lone CT can hunt you down and make you cry for your mommy.

My fellow CT players were of course very happy about my game.

You n00bs! This is why you TEAM-KILL when you can on Counterstrike! Or do something else really annoying. Like take the bomb and run the other way. Or block crucial doorways.

My best ever game of CS was at a cousin's LAN party. It was 3am. Since about 7pm he and I had gone through about 10 cans of Coke each, so we were good and aware.

It was a 3 on 3 game. My whole team got wiped out, I was only saved because I buggered off to the other side of the level so I could attack the enemy from behind. I find them just as they've finished msaaacring my team. I rushed up behind them, and in open sight killed all 3 of them. They were all shooting at me yet I did not die.

People still play CS?

I stopped months ago, shortly before CS 1.6. Steam killed my old computer, so I said "fuck it".

I was like those "little shits" talked about in the OP for awhile. But when I actually got good, it didn't matter as much to me.
