Flash question

Here's a question for you guys, let say a website uses Macromedia flash to run a picture gallery online, is it possible to save the entire flash, or parts of the pictures into your hd?

You should be able to download the flash file but it's compiled. Maybe there's a decoder/decompiler thingy somewhere on the net.(there was for Java)

The flash file itself can be saved. You can look for it in your browser's cache or look at the source code of the page and pass the path to the *.swf file into a download manager. However there are still ways to prevent this aproach.

Once you have the *.swf file on your hard drive, if it's not protected for import , you can open it with Macromedia Flash and extract it's content. However most flash designers protect their work.
