OK, I am getting crazy shit here. IE keeps opening up and going to these wierd sites, one of which is http:// newgamechatthere . 321. cn/. (it says "windows interactive images ERROR") . another is http:// srchbarchatthere . 321 . cn/ (this one says either "windows integrated image error or windows integrated search error.) Netscape keeps switching to this site that says "Pwnage and Clan Hacks" and there are 3 .exe files that have appeared on my HD and will not delete, called "meedias" "toools" and "sbc" along with an installation program called "win2k3" which I did delete.
any help will be MUCH appreciated.
I think I have a virus, please help?

Try to flush them while in safe mode. Works for me when I get that nasty spyware and backdoor trojans in my system.
Another trick that has worked for me is deleting the temporary internet files and whatever is in the temp folder - also while in safe mode.

If you have virus detecting software, use it. If you don't try AVG its free for the personal user and I've yet to have anything more than an annoying popup telling me its found a virus.
You problem however sounds like spyware and the best way to get rid of that from my view is spybot http://safer-networking.org/en/index.html and that too is free. After it cleaned up my system which I was going to reformat the harddrive to clean it, I've never stopped using it (and i've found usually 30 every week, mostly from those stupid sites which get money for 30 popup ads). I've never used safe mode and i've had some real problems with spyware (one box my sister must have had over 300 seperate spyware in it. Since this was before i heard of spybot, i reformatted the harddrive to clean it rather than hunt it all down)
Good luck to ya.
