Ok, I think my MP3 codecs are b0rk3d. My music sounds distorted and distinctly lo-fi, and certain parts of the music like individual instruments can't be heard at all.
I've installed ffdshow and (with Vertigo1's help) fiddled around with various output settings in Winamp WITH NO RESULTS WHATSOEVER!
FUCKING WINDOWS, I WANT MY MUSIC WORKING RIGHT AGAIN GODSDAMMIT!!
