No.

This goes against all gaming principles of laziness, greasiness, and sloth. Never. I will never give in to the dark side.

Why not just get yourself some good quality exercise gear. And some top-of-the-line computer components.

Hell, I doubt it'll give as quick response and accuracy as mouse & keyboard... Besides, you may get exhausted in a long deathmatch tournament.

Y'know, why not skip all this COMPUTER crap and just buy a BUILDING and decorate it up to look like a giant FPS game, and hire a few dozen people to play the bad guys and then you can actually SHOOT THEM?!?!?

Sure, it'd cost twenty million dollars, but WOW! It's the ULTIMATE first-person shooter experience! The first-personiest you can ever get!!!

IIRC around mid-80 there is (was?) such arena somewhere in the US, where people inside wear some kind of "electronic vest", and armed with some kind of "light guns". You "kill" other people by shooting your guns to certain area on their vest. Hmmm.... couldn't recall...

Lazer Tag, and you could buy the vests and guns. The first version was awesome... the guns looked sweet. Then they re-released it about a decade later and it was t3h 5toop1d.

I believe Kreshna was using sarcasm.
And I believe SPOOFE was using nostalgia. Ah, Lazer Tag... the "DOO-doo-DOO-doo" sound the sensors made when starting up, the awesome glowing red lines of the gun...

That game rocked.

Yup, Lazer Tag! I remember now. Never been there, though. Just reading about it in some magazines many, many years ago. Damn, I was still in elementary school at that time, and I *really* wanted to play the game.

Ah, lazertag. I played it once a long time ago and looking back now I realize how absolutely ridiculous I must've looked holding my gun the wrong way as I did then. Didn't quite figure out how to comfortably hold it back then.

An Australian company, Laser Force, still runs a number of those centers world-wide. Used to go to the one back in Brisbane for the New Years lock-in games, 12 hours of shooting at people, pigging on soft drinks and snack food, and throwing up between games. Good fun.

Were i live in Australia [Perth] there are a couple of laser tag places. And up in the hills 20minutes from Perth there is a place that offers full MILES gear tag.

England still has them in abundance as far as I know.

Paintball has kind of superceded it among the 18-30 crowd though.

Lazer Tag is fun, except it's hard to find a good place, and then find people who are willing to let me shoot them. There's a family fun centre type place my father's company has Christmas parties at, they have a lame version with lame vests and guns, and then there's this Lazer Quest downtown that has big vests with multiple flashing points of contact, and big rifles. That one is like, two, three stories, IIRC, with ramps and stuff. Crazy. It's always more fun if it's played under black lights. :D

Best ever laser tag game I found... I bought it the other day. When you're hit, you get electrocuted. Great fun.

Paintball hurts, but is a lot better, especially if you disregard the rules and just put up with the pain of a terminator-style walking full-frontal attack on the enemy base.

Back to the topic... I once played Burnout 2 by sitting on an exercise bike. It was so much more fun...
Give me a few days, I'll come up with an incredible signature.
