Terminator: Dawn of Fate (Incredibly Underrated Game)

Post by MKSheppard »

You can probably find this for cheep cheep cheep cheep at most
game stores for PS2 and XBOX.

It's set IIRC almost entirely in 2027, so it's a future war game, and
you get to play as Kyle Reese, under the command of Captain Perry.

Fun if a bit difficult. Also, they have various Terminator Models, such
as the Endoskeleton 800s, and a new one T-400, IIRC which is blocky
blocky, and makes sense as a "grunt" endoskeleton for finding hew-mans
and terminating them/

I just may rent that then.

Do you get to use any good guns? Or fight Arnie?

You get to fight not-Arnie and since the termie that gets sent back doesn't look like Arnie i imagine they didn't get copyright or something.

It's fun, but nothing special. Having humans whopping terminators around with a powered-baton is stretching it a bit though.

Probable no Arnie because they'd have to pay royalties for his image.

It really should. Those things were huge.

From looking at the screenshots over at the game's website, I think the Resistance is a bit too well equipped, based on what we saw in the three films.

Also, I found it amusing that the site uses the "video game emulator" font... :)

Is this the game with a quick and dirt single player which is just multiplayer with bots?

I remember it was supposed to be kind of fun, but wasn't made very well.

it didn't have a multi player, i think your thinking of the Terminator: War of the Machines, which was effectively Battlefield: Terminator, but no where near as good.

I liked T3: Redemption more (plus that game had Terminator Moments)
