Which one to play first?

Post by Enigma »

I got both Vampire: The Masquerade Redemption and Command and Conquer: Generals but I can't make up my mind which one to play first.

Which one would you suggest?

I found V:tMR to be very enjoyable. Haven't played Generals enough to vouch for or against it, though.

The campaign for Generals is very fun the first few times: too short for my tastes, and with little story connecting the missions, but still loads of fun (playing as China is the most fun, for their flame weapons, nukes, and Overlord tanks)

No RPG matchs the sheer crazyness of walking a bunch of arab halftracks into a street, then bunkering it with AT men.

Play Generals first, then you'll get tired of it sooner or later as I have and then it'll be endless fun for your other game.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Ive played both.

Generals without Zero Hour was mediocre.

V:TR would take alot more of your time and IMO more enjoyable but you have to be a player/fan of Vampire the Masquerade or else you'll lose alot of flavour.
And remember to get the patch! V:TR without that patch is damn near impossible to play because of a huge amount of bugs.
