WYSIWYG web page creator

Post by Terr Fangbite »

One of my numerous duties at my workplace is helping the technophobe teachers create websites. Right now we're using microcrap word to do it, but it is horribly inadequet for the teachers who find it a bit difficult to type let alone try to organize a webpage. I was hoping someone could tell me of a good WYSIWYG web page creator like the geocites page builder. I.E. something where you click "add image" and then move it around the page till you get it just perfect.

The web setup is redhat 9 with apache (dunno version) if that means anything. Preferably I would love it to be free, but anything will help (try to make sure the program at least has a demo or something so I can show it to my boss if it should be purchased).

Well mozilla composer is pretty easy to use. It comes standard with mozilla 1.7. Plus you'd be installing a decent browser and email client at the same time. WIn win.

unfortunately mozilla composer comes up with the same problems that word comes up with, you can't add a text book and move it around whereever you like. That was the first thing I tried when I had several teachers complain about the new method.
