Yes, I use it. No, it's not my choice.
I have AOL Broadband and I cannot play any Paradox games (Europa Universalis 2, Victoria). I'm pretty sure something is blocking the port, because when I try to connect to an IP, I get "No game at IP...."
The game uses this, I have been told:

EDIT: I just checked the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, and the game's exe file isn't listed as being able to use DirectPlay. How do I put the exe file there?
I'm running 98 SE.
