Just tried it. Quite fun.

Man this rocks!

i came up behind someone who was holding a sink with the grav gun, nabbed the sink off them with my grav. and then whopped them in the back of the head!

And i found a decent camping spot on the nova prospekt map

This is good, this is very good, though I have to admit, all things considered, I'm a little disappointed. Only two maps and one game type? More than just a little lackluster. Granted, the addition of the gravity gun makes things hilarious, and it's all good fun if you can get some decent ping, but there really needs to be a lot more before it can seriously be considered a decent MP game.

That said, from what I've played, I've had fun. :)

From some of the articles I see about this, this was a rush job getting it out, with more content being streamed up to the STEAM network.

Only two TDM servers? Bah.

Still, initial impression is very positive, mainly because the Gravity Gun= Goodness. Killing someone with a urinal the first time is....

Maybe you should wait for more servers to load on the list. Or are you talking about just two MAPS?

Anyways, I played, and it was awesome, but I still had pretty high ping... the gravity gun was useless becasuse of it, the only thing it was good for was for opponents to hold up explosive barrels for me to shoot. :P

No, I was just bitching for the sake of it. :D It's not surprising that most people want to enjoy the "deathmatch" part first.

I'm not sure but it'd truly be a damn shame if they scrapped it.

.357 Magnum is WAY overpowered, 1 hit kill right now. As is the gravity gun, throwing a chair as someone should not be lethal when a shotgun blast to the chest or multiple 9mm shots to the head aren't.

Man i ahd a blast!

I was on the nova prospekt map and for some reason the weapons were't spawning (ammo was thought) and there wwere no explosive barrels.

After racking up some kills i noticed someone hiding in the vent that leads to where the magnum and rocket launcher would spawn, my camp[ing spot from earlier. So i dropped a grenade in and took over. He came back and tried to take back the vent but i held on. About 4 of us kept on trying to keep hold of the vent, ignoring everyone else. After about half an hour the origional guy suggets we defend the vent together!

WE WERE A FUCKING TEAM BABY!

We were synchronised, one of us covering the vent, the other covering the grate behind the fan (which also wouldn't work, even if you pluggd it in). And after a minute we'd switch. If either of us was in trouble we'd help each other out, and if one bought it the other held out as long as they could till the other got back.
We even gave each other covering fire on supply runs!
And if the enemy ever managed to take "The Fort" then we'd go hell for leather to get it back!

Man that was fucking fun!

I've yet to play the Overwatch map.

Can't wait till a map comes out that hs saw blades!

There is, acutally, Team DM, which is just Rebels vs. Combine, my problem is still with the lag. Also, on some maps the item spawns are different/gone/wierd. All in all, needs a bit of work; but it's definatly fun :)

Heh yeah, wasn't TFC2 supposed to come out in like 2001? :(

I'm a major TFC fan, so I'll be remaining hopeful for TFC2. However, if it does come out, I'm just expecting a simple redo of the TF/TFC gameplay; nothing really groundbreaking.
