I mentioned, I overwatched the area alread.

they instantly jump/teleport the spiders and the fireprisms. The base just appears there.
Like I said. They're in for a lascannon loaded surprise when I do the mission over.
It's Rogue, not Rouge!

Bah, you wimp ;) I just let them capture a couple of my hotspots while i built a couple terminator squads and the big leggy shooty things to wipe em out, while my main force was roasting marshmallows on the other side of the bridge.

Yeah, when I took the bridge the rush across it by the Eldar was so bad I used orbital bombardment on the center of the bridge.

Right, I'm doing that mission again and I'm surrounding that area with Predators before I capture the bridge this time. That'll teach them...
Actually, it is always there, but they lay quiet until you attack the bridge. After my base got pwned by the Eldar horde of Doom, I've started from a savepoint (before I attacked the bridge), Sent my army there, took that base out, found another base at the top of my shore, about midway on the map (use your skull probes to find it), killed it too, took the bridge, and continued the pwnage.

Have a very nice day.

Heh, I hadn't even noticed that I already had that power in that level. I just roasted them old school.

I think up to and including that level, your legged shooty/slicy vehicles are pretty much invulnerable to all enemy units.

Oh, I took out the base in the center of the map on my side of the river with a single Assault Marine squad and some judicious use of melta bombs and jump packs. :P Okay, note to self: Bombard that area before taking the bridge...

Edit: Wait! Great idea! Mines! Mines, I say!
