I've been having problems connecting Ace Pace's PC to mine, we're connecting over the network port, both FW's down, yet the computer says the connection is unplugged, the problem seems to be in AP's computer, but everything checks out.
Any idea's?

Normal network cables can not be plugged from one computer directly into another.
Get a crossover cable or a hub/switch & another normal network cable.
