All the damn retainers that I let go because I didn't know about that little trick. Damn it all. I could have assembled myself such uber badass generals... gah.

I get every general all the priests, tons of librariens, historians(whatever), dogs, lions, protectors, slaves, turncoats...

Yeah, I've been doing that for ages. You can't let these guys go to waste. And they never die, so long as you keep transferring them.

Some of my favorite retinues are Pontifix Maximus (2+ influence I believe), Drillmaster (25% movement increase), Priest of Jupiter (1+ to command, mangagement, & influence), Treasurer (2+ management), and Equestrian (10% extra income). The turncoats really annoy me, even though they are a testament to the wars and battles that your general have been in. I don't need more command stars, those can be easily achieved just by constantly attacking and defending against a superior foe.
