This is pretty accurate re: the kind of hoops you need to jump through to max out everyone's influence- it's especially hard playing as a darksider but in my second dark side game with some handy help from an influence guide on gamefaqs I've gotten enough influence to turn Bao-Dur, Atton & Handmaiden into Dark Jedi. It's fiddly however. T3-M4 is almost impossible to get sufficient influence with (ie. to open up all those [repair] and [computer] options) and I got HK-47 so late in my last game that he never did tell me how he killed Jedi, so I missed out on that stat boost. Sucks. I'll try and do better this time round, since I don't need to waste my time with Bao Dur/Atton/Handmaiden.
By some annoying bug in my second Darskide game I asked Visas about force sight before I had any influence with her and I of course failed the check, and now I can't ask her again. Not that force sight is particularly useful, but goddamit I wanted it for completeness sake.

Similar thing happened to me, one of Kreia's Force lessons got screwed up, didn't work properly and now won't show up anymore. Like I've been saying... the game really needs a patch.

Should be good. They've had more than enough time to work on it.Hi all,
We know that everyone has been waiting for some word on when and how we would address some of the issues with the PC version of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
As of Tuesday we have a "patch candidate" in QA for verification. It will take several days to test and verify all the fixes, and to make sure that the patch plays nice with all system configs etc. We hope to release the patch very shortly - check back here for any updates. We're not providing a date for fear that we find another issue that needs to be addressed, and the patch would need to be pushed back. LucasArts and Obsidian are both working diligently to get the patch together and released as soon as possible.
We anticipate the patch being available for all language versions on or around the same day. We also hope to post a patch list that documents the changes that you can look for when installing the patch.
Finally, thanks for your patience, and we hope that you enjoy the game.

It's things like patches that make me wish that I had a P.C. that could run modern games so I don't get stuck playing unpatched games on my Xbox.
[Spoilers, I guess.]
I never really had that much trouble with influence. On my first time through I just kept Handmaided and Atton in my party all the time. By the end of Nar Shadda I had Jedierised(TM) them both. The key is to work out who it's hardest to get influence with out of the people that you want influence with, and lep them in your party all the time. In that game I was mostly switching Haidmaiden back and forth with Visas after Haidmaiden got Jedierised. Since Almost all of the influence you need with Visas can be got through dialouge with her, she wasn't that much of a priority ealy on. Of course, Haidmaiden is easy to get influence with, just duel with her in the Hawk, but that doesn't always give you enough influence for some of her dialouge, so like to keep her in my party untill I get enough influence.
Bao-Dur is a bitch to get influence with. In my first time through I don't think I even unlocked any other options besides "Give me sheilds" and "Make lightsaber". Pff.
I don't usually even bother getting influence with Mira, HK or G0-T0. HK is wimp now, and there's no point doing anything with G0-T0 since he's more or less a floating clone of T3. And I've got enough Sentinals without Mira (My favourite class).
I, uh, don't think I ever even spoke to Disciple.

You didn't influence Mira? Didn't you want another Jedi?
HK is pretty hard-core at the higher levels with a decent upgraded blaster rifle, and his influence dialog increases your stats if you get far enough.

My Exile is always a Jedi Sentinal. Atton was also a Jedi Sentinal. Visas was also a Jedi Sentinal. I had enough Sentinals!Vympel wrote: You didn't influence Mira? Didn't you want another Jedi?
Also, Mira just annoyed me. Bleh, bleh, "I don't kill my targets" bleh, bleh, bleh. Whatever. I don't tend to like helping people how POISON ME.
I guess a Jedi Mira might have helped in the fight with Hanhaar on Malachor, though.
He starts with a CON of ten. Ok, not too bad for a ranged fighter, but a DEX of 14? Eh? And what happened to all those upgrades you gave him in KOTOR? Ok, they may have been damaged, but you shoul be able to enable them again. The regeneration and bonus' to DEX made him a TANK in KOTOR, but now...meh. Jedi Atton with his dual pistols was enough for me.HK is pretty hard-core at the higher levels with a decent upgraded blaster rifle, and his influence dialog increases your stats if you get far enough.
