Trillian 3.1 is out...
...and it still lumps all your MSN contacts under a category called "MSN". Geez.
What the fuck is wrong with these guys. Every single other 3rd-party IM reads the categories from the MSN network and puts each contact where it belongs. gaim does it, shit-ass Miranda does it, even that unstable piece of crap IM2 or whatsitsname does it. And Trillian does it too... for ALL other networks except MSN.
</end rant>

Intrestingly, I can stick my MSN contacts where ever I want... Me thinks you just need to try and MOVE them
I got the 3.1, what changed except forcing me to specify who I am inviting and from what user I am inviting to a chat? stupid update, not even faster.

Er...Slarti? What the holy flying fuck are you talking about? You'd be amazed how much my MSN contacts aren't in a single MSN heading.
Chronological Incontinence: Time warps around the poster. The thread topic winks out of existence and reappears in 1d10 posts.
Out of Context Theatre, this week starring Darth Nostril.

Ok the smartasses that don't know what they're talking about, try deleting or renaming your buddy lists from your hard drive (buddies.xml), then load Trillian and watch it as it puts every single contact you've ever had from MSN and put it in a single "MSN" category, while at the same time putting every Yahoo, AIM, and ICQ contacts in their respective SAVED categories.
Now install GAIM or Miranda or MSN Messenger or whatever, and do the same, you will notice that GAIM & Miranda actually puts the MSN contact in their SAVED categories. Guess what, MSN and Yahoo and ICQ and AIM fucking SAVE the categories of each contact in their SERVER. Like, when you use a client, it connects to a server. And the server holds data. Elemental.
Here's a hint: if you don't know shit about computers, shut the fuck up. (Ace).

Oh my, you mean I can MOVE them? And if I install Trillian in another computer, they will automatically download from the server INTO their categories? Wow, I hadn't noticed thatWhite Haven wrote:Er...Slarti? What the holy flying fuck are you talking about? You'd be amazed how much my MSN contacts aren't in a single MSN heading.
