My head is gone: GTA:SA

Post by Stark »

Finally went back to max out everything in GTA:SA. Bumping up the desert cop chick, doing the date then two-player thing for more points. I decided on a whim to have her kill me instead of vice versa, and the camera got stuck under the awning of the police station.

Result?

I have a volcano of blood where my head used to be. I've died, saved, tried everything. Its funny, yet disturbing, to walk through the game, with no head, and blood constantly pouring out all over the road (even when you're in a car). I've kept a save for curiousity and moved on. Anyone else have a wierd bug like that?

As cool as that bug is, I'm sure it'll be fixed in the PC version.

I've been told it'll be out in June.

Meh, I never got into Andres. I could never get passed that damn second mission, the one where you have to escape on a bike.

LOL! OMFG! k thx n00b.

I've done everything: I want to go back to the start, because 'gimme that paper' and 'send them ducats over here' are the best lines in the whole world.

Sorry, but I suck at bicycles in that game. That and my hands have gotten used to my XBox controller.

I forgot the :)... many of the GTA:SA missions are ridiculously frustrating, particularly at the beginning.

Irritatingly, because console coders never put properly remappable controls in their games, the Xbox version of GTA:SA will be utterly ruined by the horrible 'target with d-pad' thing. I use a ps2 controller on Xbox (so I know how you feel, controller-wise) but I can't set the buttons properly! BAH. :)

Yeah, I first realized I had a problem when I went to play VC after spending several months in Haloville. I used to be pretty good with the vehicles in Vice City. I made that city my bitch whenever I wanted to, without the attack chopper. I only use the tank sometimes. But, after the Halo spree, I couldn't get used to the PS2 controller again.

About that mission though: I remember making the car chasing me, wreck, then standing two feet from it and pouring SMG fire into it. Yet, the car didn't even seem to the take damage.

Just out of curiousity, have you tried going for a haircut?
or buying a hat or some shades?

Its not REALLY a problem: I went back to my last save. I've kept a copy of it, though. I'd not tried putting a hat on: that has great 'invisible man' comedy potential!
