That battery indicator problem

Post by Spyder »

Hi folks, some of you may remember a little while ago I started a thread about battery indicators not showing up on notebooks despite having "always show icon in taskbar ticked" in the power settings.

Well, I finally figured out what was causing it: Service Pack 2. I uninstalled SP2 and lo and behold the battery icon was sitting neatly in the system tray. (That's not exactly where that tickbox said it was going to be but close enough.)

Well, that's pretty much it.

Are you saying SP2 is teh 3v31? It's given me no problems.

I've had that problem myself long before I got SP2.

Ok, it wasn't that simple...

Now it seems to be sometimes on sometimes off.
