Question for anyone who's played AtariST / Amiga era games

I've been trying to place a name to two games on the Atari ST platform I played as a kid and failing, I wonder if any of you guys can help me out from the descriptions below: [they're rather vague, but i believe these games were fairly unique so it shouldn't be too bad...]

1) Side scroller shooter - you controlled a chinese dragon which you could change into different types with different abilities. 16-bit bitmap graphics.

2) cute anime-style game [thinking back, in 1991, i had no friggin clue what anime was. haha. and now i'm an otaku. at 18. how odd.] , 1 or 2 player - how do i describe this...enemies came down from the top of the screen, and your chara is an SD fantasy guy and his sister. fighting...last boss was some bishie villian or somesuch.

this is all i remember...it's driving me nuts that i can't recall the names

1) Sounds like Saint Dragon except for the shapechanging thing.
2) Don't know what a "SD fantasy guy" is.

saint dragon..hm..looked some screenshots it up, not quite what i'm thinking of.

i figure the games are rather obscure, since i've looked through quite a fair bit of screenshots of atari games and i haven't yet found either of them.

though i finally came across Hunter. i loved that game. ah heck. let's turn this into a general discussion of those games of yore, particularly the ones that weren't console ports!

*is something wrong with the board? i keep on getting phpbb errors. or is it something on my end?

ohh..another one i'm trying to figure out-you're a a guy who's been cursed to turn into a purple bubble, and you have to navigate through a spikey isometric castle/cavern.
