Ok, i'm sick and tired of these now, so i want to know if anyone else has had these problems with an iPod, and if so, what the hell did you do to solve them?
1 - In the 8 months i've had it, it's just frozen up on four occasions. Completely frozen up, music wont play and it wont even acknowledge the "lock" switch. I get round it by leaving it till the battery runs out and then recharging.
2 - The bit where the headphones plug in seems to be broken. I can hear the music, but unless i push the connection at a certain angle i miss parts of it, like it will play the song but i can't hear the lyrics, or i can't hear the bass the line. It's definately not the headphones as i've tried 3 different pairs, as well as trying them through an iPod remote.
Am i right ion assuming it's the connection port for the headphones? Is there any way i can fix this or do i need to phone up Apple and bitch?

You can get round lock ups by holding down play and menu, which is essentially the ipod big red reset button, should get you back to normal, as to the other thing, can't help you. I do occassionally got lock-ups on my ipod, usually they sort out, but if not then I just reset.
