So, I will shortly be building a new system, and I have been looking at nForce4 based boards. I'm an MSI fan, and they currently have two offerings that appeal to me (for a gaming and general use rig):
The Neo4-F and the Neo4 Platinum.
The basic different feature-wise is that the Platinum uses the nF4 Ultra chipset and has two onboard Lan interfaces (which I don't care about, I don't need even one since I use WI-FI), and built in 1394 (which I want for my iPod). The price difference is around 60 dollars. My question is, is the Ultra worth $50 (for whatever else it has over the regular nF4) , or should I just buy the regular one + $20 1394 card and save $30-$40?
