Secret Organizations RPG sign up and disucssion

STRINGS

These are places where you have contacts, friends, and some inside information. This includes police, media, punks, bums, corporations, the fire dep. the national gaurd, etc. While these people may not help you directly, they'd be happy to supply you with information, and occasionally supplies. Everyone has 100 points of contacts to "Spend" Remember, these people will be your best way of getting information and help, so having people in the right places will get you information on say, where the cult is meeting next week, a scheduled police raid, or the secret movements of enemies. When 2 people have strings in the same place, every time they try to gain help from that group, there is a chance that your line of communication will be tapped, cut off, or even have the message changed directly.

Organization design (You've got 1,200 points.) Please note, this only includes creatures or people willing to fight and die for your organization whom you have readily availible.

Crap creatures: You control exceedingly wussy creatures in large numbers. This category includes smurfs, garden gnomes, and keebler elves. No access or possible training in weapons, in general, a teenager armed with a kitchen knife is a match for ten of these buggers. 1 point/ 1,000 people

Just crap: these include punks, teens, old people, and other creatures similarly not very capable in combat. Their weapons generally include nothing more than a switchblade or sword cane. 1/200 people

Mediocre: The working class of humans equivelent, these are some of the tougher fighters availible to an organization. From construction workers with bats, to lumber workers with chainsaws, to clerks with phonebooks, this is probably one of your best bets for an organization. 1/100 people

Average: Guys with access to small arms, and light police equipment. These people are average cops, gang enforcers, or bodygaurds. 1/50 people

Better than average: If you want lots of military contacts this is for you. From swat teams to army grunts go here. 1/10 people

Meta: minor psionics, low leveled mages, go here. 1/1

Elite: You've got people of similar power and competence of the S.A.S, Seals, or Rangers. These people are THE BEST that normal humans can be and their coordination, access to heavy weapons, and general power are far greater than any of the above classes. 10/1

Meta-elite: These are scary buggers who have mid level magic, or superpowers, along with the training and competence of the Elites. 25/1

Supers: Superman, Gandalf, and similar being come here. 50/1
