Nifty. I'm good at deductive reasoning but bad at puzzles; so far I've been able to figure out how the puzzle activation system works and figured out how the puzzles are supposed to work, but I can't solve the actual puzzles.

I need my girlfriend for this, the two of us work much better together than individually, we're scary when we bounce ideas off of each other.

Have you managed to understand the Red Room? That's the only one I don't understand.

Big, big hint: it's a die, as in dice

Thank you Uraniun, you've done it! I was able to crack that, and finally defeat my nemesis the Green Room.

Now to move on to the Crimson Room, another fiendish puzzle involving a room (http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/crimson/crimson_e.php)

So far I've tackled the Red and Blue Rooms and am starting on the Yellow Room, while Uts has done all three of the first set. The Green Room seems mighty tricky.

EDIT: He's completed the Green Room, now is on to the Purple Room.

EDIT2: Got the Yellow Room down, now onto the...Green Room.

I've finally gotten through that memory-taxing orange room and am now totally boggled by the meaningless color-changing oribitals of the Dark Room itself.

I don't get it; they don't respond to any change in combination of color, active/deactive state, or whatever I've done over the past 5 minutes or more. It only took me less than an hour to get this far and I came across a response from orange in seconds.

EDIT: Perhaps it's the white room. It's the 7th at least.

The White Room is the key.

And once you're done, go to the Crimson Room. Here's the link: http://www.fasco-csc.com/works/crimson/crimson_e.php

I'm stuck.

That really isn't a helpful clue. :?

Wait, wait, I think I'll try something, that color order reminds me....

I think we've both done the Crimson Room when it was posted here last year. ;)

Well, at least I remember doing and completing it. Tried to do it again just now, couldn't remember how and gave up.

Possibly just after a Dylan /"Shogun/" Richards?

And I gathered that the Crimson Room might have showed up here before. But what about the Vermillion Room?

I've never heard of the Vermillion Room.

Part of the problem with the Crimson Room is that it's a pain in the ass to find every little thing. If it wasn't vector-based I'd call it a pixel hunt.

In the Crimson Room, I've so far found:

-Both silver & gold drawer keys
-The gray 'ordinary' key.
-The CD case
-The URL paper (and its 5927 code)
-The CD player power cord
-The Mystery Box
-Both rings that fit into the box (stupid curtain...)
-The Battery (found at the foot of the bed. I also looked behind the headboard.)
-...And the rod. Stupid fucking space between the matress & headboard!!

EDIT: Beat it. Damn annoying and not very intuitive. Silly pixel-hunting indeed.

Try:

Clicking on the curtain a lot
And looking very carefully under the pillow

Oh and the Vermillion Room is a son of a bitch.

'

I found the crimson room ipossible even with a walkthrough. Too much time trying to find the very small place to click to get at something (like between the wall and the mattress)

I finally finished the Vermillion Room, which was just plain harder than the Crimson one. It also makes me wonder how the hell you got there, or why . . . Prime target for a fanfic, methinks.

Well, I just gotta say, that Pink Prison better be a heck of a lot harder than Blue Chamber.
