Kingdom Hearts II Meets Tron

While it was already known that Kindom Hearts II would be giving us a chance at reliving such Disney classics as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Mulan, word has just leaked out about an unexpected addition to the game: Tron. That's right, the 1982 sci-fi classic has been selected by Square Enix as one of the sequel's worlds.

Leaked pictures from an upcoming issue of Jump Magazine reveal a few details. Donald, Sora and Goofy are transported inside a computer for this world, and similar to their animal forms for The Lion King (you have heard about Sora's lion cub form, haven't you?), the three end up with a new look, appearing blue-colored to match their surroundings. The three fight alongside Tron, attempting to expel Master Control from the system.
Nerdgasm :D , just wish I could play KH1/2 (Gamecube owner)

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

I loved the first game, and now looking at the second one, it loks phenominal. And the fact that Mulan's world will be in there with all the others, WOW. I didn't see any tron pictures unfortunately. :-( Did any one here beat Sephiroth? I managed to damage him a bit and that was it. He then handed me a large handout of Whup ass, and killed me in 2 hits

Fu. King. A.

I just want to hear David Warner's modified voice growling, "Would you rather take your chances with ME, program?"

Before you face sephiroth, you need to take out Cernaborg(The big-ass demon from Fantasia) and get the Superglide ability. The key to defeating Sephiroth is the ability to move in close or get far away as soon as possible. If you hear Sephiroth say "Sin Harvest", you have about a second or two to get in and beat him out of it, or he launches an attack that not only takes you down to a single tick of energy, but erases all your magic points, no matter how much you have. He then immediately tries to finish you off. You need Superglide to get away from him, and some Elixirs and such to heal yourself.

So we have Tron now? They're going for a Disney tour de force, aren't they? A newish screenshot showed Stitch from Lilo and Stitch as well. This game will be huge. (Both "huge good" and "huge big").

I still remember when I first faced Sephiroth in KH1. I was even warned about him. My line of thought was about this: "So he's all the way over there on the opposite side of the arena, he can't possibly hit me from way over- What?! His sword is HOW big?" Good times. I still need to beat him...

The amount of ass this game could kick is rising to truly awesome proportions.

I'll second that.

Did anyone figure out who the two figures jump-attacking the big Heartless in the new video are, yet? You only see them from behind for about a second and a half, they do a synchronized jump-kick attack on a big bipedal Heartless and then land on the ground. It's been bothering my roommate, so now he got me wondering...

Penny Arcade told me of the news before SDN? Sad. Get on the ball, people! :)

I almost wish I played any of the Kingdom Hearts games or had any Playstation system at all, because I thus can't really care.

Or, if you have working ears, listen for him saying "Descend, Heartless Angel" (Heartless Angel was also a move he used in FFVII as Safer Sephiroth, which again reduced all your HP to 1.)

Also, if you want to disrupt the Heartless Angel attack, Sonic Blade or Strike Raid him. (Strike Raid especially, but if you're close enough for a Sonic Blade, you can follow up with an Ars Arcanum for major hurt.)

It's easier if you're carrying the Ultima Weapon keyblade, and of course a whole mess of levels doesn't hurt either. Keep up an Aerora or Aeroga all the time as well, so his normal attacks don't hurt so much.

Once you're used to coping with his attacks, especially Heartless Angel, the biggest problem will be the fact that he keeps whizzing around all over the arena, and sounds like a member of N'sync. Which is what he is.
