IMG CD images

Post by BloodAngel »

What programs would be able to burn the ".img" format? Preferably free of course, but if it's shareware/to buy then I guess I can handle it. I've personally never seen this format before.

And on the topic of images, besides Nero and CDRwin, are there any programs that can burn bin/cue files?

Thanks!

Your best bet would be Alcohol 120%. While I've used Nero before for data discs and have liked it, everything I've heard suggests that it's inferior for producing image discs.

Just convert them. All the lame formats are useless (except .mds/.mdf, which is needed for some highly illegal ripping) - just convert them all to .iso and forget about it. The .cue files are almost totally useless for game copying, since the install doesn't care if it's the real disc and anyone sensible just cracks the game anyway.
