After installing 1.5, I spent hours trying to update themes and extensions (just the ones compatible with 1.5) in vain until I googled the solution. For anyone who has problems updating themes and extensions:
Type about:config in the URL bar.
xpinstall.enabled, change its value to true.
You'll be able to install the updates.
Firefox 1.5 Final released!!!!
