Me and my family are looking at the newest kinds of TVs...but are at a loss given all the option available.
We're thinking some kind of Flatscreen TV, possibly HD. What should we be looking for in a decent new TV?

The primary use of this TV will be for TV watching purposes, but gaming and DVD watching are secondary features for most of the viewers (but primary for me).
