Because I've never understood the breaking the link rule on this forum, and whenever I've asked about why or when it should be done - no one explains it to me.

The rule is very simple. Only break the link when the link may lead to a potentially hostile website. I recommend fixing your link. I am interested in reading it, but not interested in copying and pasting.

And 'potentially hostile website' usually means something like a fundie, Trektard, or racist forum, blog, or other site with its own community that might not like what we do here.
