Need "Executor" Flyby!

Post by Lord Poe »

If anyone has a current Star Wars game with a good version of the Executor in it, I need your help!

I'd need someone to grab an .avi or .wmv video of an establishing Executor flyby for all of 4 seconds. You'll receive a credit if I use it in a movie!

Flyby: Think of the Executor's full first appearance in TESB.

I don't have the game anymore so sadly can't help, however I believe that the SW vs ST mod for Armada 1 + 2 had a good P81 Executor model, and I'd imagine it would be relatively easy to make a video from the footage in that game if you can find somebody who still owns it.

Hmmmmmm. If I could find my copy of XWA, install the improved 17 km Executor model from the upgrade project, and figure out how to actually do a video capture of the game (besides using the replay function, which I'm pretty sure isn't .avi), I might be able to do that for you. *Goes digging through old game disks.*

Edit: I should add, how do you want it done? No cockpit? TIE cockpit? Assault run from a B-wing?

Okay, I'll see what I can do, but everything's predicated on me being able to find the damned game. *Rummages.*

The latest free version of will do full resolution movie captures with sound for 30 seconds. Every time I hit quickload in a game (F9), Fraps makes a half gig video file. I really need to remap Frap's capture key :)

Will do. Might have to be after the weekend, though; leaving in about four hours to go to the family Thanksgiving get-together, and if I don't find and reinstall the game before then it'll just have to wait.

I believe the HW2 mod Warlords has a good Executor model, maybe you could use that.

I think the newest version looks like this now, but I only have an older version of the mod installed.
