My Thunderbird won't talk to my Gmail anymore

Post by Bounty »

This started yesterday. When Thunderbird tries to connect to Gmail's POP server, I get a timeout. My ISP's mail works fine (in/out) and outgoing messages through Gmail work, too. I didn't change any settings recently, not on TB, not in my firewall nor in my router.

My guess is this is either a firewall problem or a change in Gmail itself. Anyone know what this might be?

I doubt it's a change in Gmail. Thunderbird/Gmail still works excellently for me.

Works for me, make sure that T/B still uses port 995 and not 110

Never mind, it fixed itself...somehow...

I'll just blame my ISP.
