Flash : Ultimate EBA/Ouendan Machine

Post by Stark »

So I've had Ouendan and EBA for a while, and I couldn't finish the last track on normal for either. Bit of a bummer, really, since the early tracks are way too easy to play on normal. Ouendan's final level had the added annoyance of having to sit through 30s of intro every time the level was attempted, which put me off repeated attempts pretty quickly.

Some people I know have been stuck on these levels for weeks, with constant playing, familiarity with the music and the specific patterns involved. We were pretty much all stumped.

Flash is a self-described rhythm master. He almost beat Guitaroo Man on hardest, he got through GH2 on hardest in an evening, all kinds of retarded exploits. So I badgered him to play these levels and unlock the higher difficulties for me. He'd bought a DSL, so I leant him my EBA cart.

In three days (of working 8 hour days) he was at the final level on hardes, having beaten every track on every difficulty level.

I figured I'd get him to finish Ouendan's final track, since I have a soft spot for the music. He came round for bad movies and I leant him the cart... and before he left he'd finished it.

On his sixth play. The sixth time he'd even heard the song.

So the next day he's finished Ouendan up to hardest. What drives this man? From where does he get his powers? Why does he have to be so smug about it?

I'll tell you who is the god of EBA: Sixfourtyfive.

Go search his name on Youtube. He's got all 300 videos of every level on the highest difficulty.
