Hey guys, I just bought a Wii today and there's something odd with my remote. I was wondering if this had happened to any of you, whether or not it was standard, or if you had heard of this happening to anyone else.
I set up the console and popped in Wii sports. When I was getting ready for a match of Tennis, the game told me to disconnect the nun chuck attachment, which I promptly did. As soon as it was disconnected though, my cursor disappeared from the screen and none of the buttons except the power button on the remote had any effect on the system. Perplexed, I restarted the system and for a moment my cursor was flickering on the interface, then it disappeared. When I plugged the nun chuck back in the cursor reappears. It's nothing crucial but it is anoying because every time I want to play something in Wii Sports I have to unplug the nun chuck to start the match and then pop it right back in. Anyone know what's going on with this or have any suggestions?

that's really weird. Maybe try resyncing the controller? Press the red button by the SD slot on the console and the red button under the battery slot. Other than that, I'd give the owner's manual a shot.

Well, the connection port is right by the battery compartment. Maybe something's loose.
