What DS Lite shortage? I walked right into Walmart and bought one, just three weeks ago. Admittedly, it's still hard to find online for a decent price, last I checked.

Depending on where you live, they're either scarce or plentiful. Uts, DPDP, and I were able to get our DS Lites with relative ease, just walking in the store and buying them.

I still see them in pretty good stock around here, though I think a lot of places got cleaned out approaching and following Christmas, which is pretty much expected.

I got mine on launch week in a Manchester GAME store. They had plenty there, but the problem was finding Metroid Prime: Hunters for it too, which was sold out everywhere else.
