SE V Gritty Galaxy Game has open spots

Post by Arthur_Tuxedo »

So half our players allowed their Steam games to upgrade or upgraded manually and are now unable to open the save game. That leaves some open spots, obviously. It's still early in the game, so no one should be crippled and screwed. Look for SDN SEV Gritty Galaxy on PBW.

Game is run every 48 hours, with no tech trading and no annihilation (surrendered players fight the victor's enemies).

Still no interest, I see. Is it the mod that people don't like, or are we just SE'd out from all the SEIV games? Would people be more interested in a Balance Mod game?

Personally, I need more time. I'd love to jump on (and be my gamey, evil self), but I'm still recovering from checking my SEIV more than checking my email. :P

The last debacle in B5 left a bad taste in my mouth. I can't help but think of it every time I think of Space Empires.

But the real reason is it can't start for me until May 8th. Lot of things on the line for me until then, life shattering things :P.

I was over that B5 shit in days. I mean seriously, who didn't predict that it would end like that from day one? There's a reason why I didn't take it seriously until it looked like I might win. The game started with bickering and bullshit and was destined to end the same way.

One thing about Gritty Galaxy that I don't like, though, is that it does seem to get off to a slow start just like the B5 mod, although for different reasons. Limited sensors means it takes a long time to scout out systems.
