Fuck you Nero Burning Rom!
Okay, I just found out the Hard Way that Nero has a 'trial period' that can randomly expire. I need a replacement CD burning app, and quick!

The once a year I actually burn a CD I use burnatonce, but I'm sure you or others are more knowledgeable about these things than I. Hell, I'm sure if I bothered to learn it my OS has a burning ability somewhere.

On WinXP I use a somewhat bloated freeware app called "CD Burner XP Pro" (except on my box that has an old OEM copy of Nero).
On Linux, K3b and the GNOME utility are quite nice, and as an added plus, can also do DVDs.
Most of my CD and DVD burning consists of burning .iso files for operating system installation, or other software installation purposes. I do not use CDs for playing or transferring music, but I do occasionally use a CD for transferring data. From my perspective, the most important feature in a disk burning program is the ability to burn a disk from a .iso image.
