I'm pretty satisfied with the graphics changes. The environment didn't seem to change at all, but the ships look MUCH better. I see no performance issues at max settings, and it's pretty damned cool.

I'd be even happier if I wasn't on a n00b trial account. I tried EvE several months ago and didn't like it. When this thread popped up, I figured I'd give it another try, and I'm liking it so far, but goddamn if it isn't taking a while to get to fly a cruiser!

I'll have the skills by this time tomorrow, but not the money. Hopefully the money will take long enough to accumulate that I can train my skills well enough to fly the cruiser well, instead of just being able to get killed in my first trip.

If you're needing a hand, Our little corp is based around Poinen...we've had the tendancy to go and make ships when we need them at next to no cost, so I'm sure we could help you out a bit.

Actually it seems to run at least as fluent as the old engine for me. And that's at max settings mind you. And with a little luck, my new PC arrives this weekend :D

I also like that they included Eve-voice for free now. From what I've seen so far it's a lot better than teamspeak/ventrillo, although I don't know how it'll handle large chatboxes.

As for ships, still a looooong way from the tech 2 battleships (30 - 40 days give or take for marauders, black ops even worse) and I doubt I could afford them anytime soon anyway. I already got the skills for heavy interdictor cruisers and electronic attack frigates and I'm paticulary interested these. The HIC's probably be godawfull expensive the first weeks so I guess I'll start with the frigates. The Gallentean one in particular seems like a nice little tool to create havoc

Finally, yay to the interceptor buff. I actually bought some cheap raptors and maledictions pre-patch since they're finally worth a damn now.

My current PC cant run the new graphics which is actually fortunate or I would have been one of those getting shafted by that fuck up. By the time I get my new pc they should have identified the more immediate bugs.

I cant say I am really liking some of the UI options. The ability to move the drone menus and merge it with other things is a good idea in theory but I still find myself lacking space so I can properly see the menus without getting in the way. Some of the new drone commands dont appear useful but I do like the new indicators to show what they are targeting.
The situation with the new gang menu makes it even worse but it is definetly alot easier to understand in Trinity. Seems to be more than a few people who have no idea how to properly work the Fleet system.

Nevermind :P it appears that my firewall was lowering overall performance of everything I ran, so disabling a few options has ramped my speed right back up again.

I still can't get over how pretty some of the amarr ships are now.

I do agree that some of the new ships look like they have the potential for creating chaos amongst enemies..the new black ops battleships for example. A cloaking battleship that can still move and target almost immediately after decloaking? :D

Someone is going to feel the pain when a torpedo boat appears right beside them and smacks the ever loving shit outa them.
