Don't forget to check you have another SATA power from the PSU as well (made that mistake before), if not you can get adapters for a few bucks.

Yeah, they tend to assume that you got cables for all of your SATA ports with your mobo, which is usually the case unless it's a pre-built PC, it's an OEM mobo, or your mobo manufacturer is ludicrously cheap. :lol:

You should be fine power-wise, though, since I assume it came with an molex-SATA adapter. Both of mine, which I noted earlier are the same model as yours, each came with one.

Rez, the SATA power cable in the comp has another connector on it, so that's okay.

Exie, you nailed it: It's prebuilt, OEM mobo that's proprietary out the ass, and it's HP, so yes, ludicrously cheap applies in spades here. Oif.
